Lake Swimming

THIS WILL BE THE LAST SATURDAY MORNING SWIM OF THE YEAR.

As previously advised the lake will open three evenings and one morning per week until the end of September. All of these have to be pre-booked on this page and you will need your logon to do so.

Due to loss of light, evening sessions will now be Monday, Thursday and Friday between 18:00 – 19:30.  Saturday morning will be between 09:00 – 12:00.

The lake team will brief you on the procedures you will need to follow on arrival but again here are the basics and they are slightly different to the last email so please read and digest.

Here are the basics. These are in keeping with the procedures adopted by other lakes and venues.

1. If you have any Covid-19 symptoms, please do not turn up to swim.
2. Lakeside, 2 metres social distancing rules will be applied. Please listen to the lake officials.
3. No parking will be permitted at the lake. Park at the Crosswater Bathroom warehouse and walk to the lake.
4. Check, and if appropriate update your emergency contact information. This was provided on joining. This can be checked via www.webcollect.org.uk
5. Swims to be booked via the events calendar on the club website www.dartfordandwhiteoaktri.co.uk
6. No booking, no swim!
7. Entry to the lake will be staggered, with a maximum of 20 people in the lake at any one time.
8. No changing will be allowed at the container. Please try and arrive ready to swim.
9. Arrive 15 mins before your allocated slot.
10. Depart after, without delay.
