Swimming Changes

Pool Sessions

The club have been negotiating options with Whiteoaks and other pools for additional sessions. For the time being only WhiteOaks sessions will be available and will be changing to move the Sunday afternoon swim to a Monday evening and re-instating Wednesday evening pool swims.

This means that Sunday 6th September will be the last Sunday swim for the foreseeable. There will be a Monday evening and Wednesday evening swim this week as well. The schedule for the this coming week is as follows.

Sunday 6th September 16:00 – 16:45 Whiteoaks – 6 Lanes

Monday 7th September 18:00 – 20:00 Lake

Monday 7th September 21:00 – 22:00 Whiteoaks – 3 Lanes

Wednesday 9th September 21:15 – 22:15 Whiteoaks – 6 Lanes

Thursday 10th September 18:00 – 20:00 Lake

Friday 11th September 18:00 – 20:00 Lake

Saturday 12th September 09:00 12:00 Lake

Monday 14th September 21:00 – 22:00 Whiteoaks – 3 Lanes

Lake Sessions

Unbelievably thoughts are now turning to the end of the open water season and its finale. The last lake session will be Monday 28th September but before that we have the return of the Lilo race which proved so popular in 2018. Details to follow but the basic requirement is that you have something blow-upable you can hold onto whilst swimming as quickly as you can. It’s a race but possibly not as you know it.

Lilo race – Saturday 26th September – time to be confirmed.

Last lake swim – Monday 28th September 18:00 – 20:00.
